Kaitlyn Semple - Lucy

Kaitlyn Semple is an actor, singer, dancer and teacher from Regina, Saskatchewan. Since completing her BFA in Acting from the University of Regina, she has trained in Toronto with CBC's Triple Sensation, in Edmonton at the Banff/Citadel Professional Theatre Program, and in Regina with the Globe Theatre Conservatory. Ryland Alexander - Paul

Ryland Alexander is a Regina-based actor and educator and has been working in film and theatre for the past twenty years. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta BFA - Drama (Acting), Rose Bruford College MA - Theatre Practices, and the University of Regina BEAD - Arts Education programs. Kate Herriot in Resting Potential

Kate Herriot - Sara

Kate Herriot is a garden and nature enthusiast who currently works in simulation-based healthcare education at the University of Saskatchewan. Before moving into the simulations world, Kate had spent about ten years as an actor in theatres around Saskatchewan and in various film and TV projects. She is an organizer with Climate Justice Saskatoon, a co-host of Mom I'm a Thespian on 90.5FM CFCR, and an aunt to two sweetie-pies. Some theatre and film credits include: As You Like It, Comedy of Errors, Hamlet, Merry Wives of Windsor, Twelfth Night, and Richard III (Shakespeare in the Saskatchewan); Christmas Carol (Globe Theatre); Blow, Wind (Dancing Sky Theatre); Chained (Anchor Bay Entertainment, dir. Micaele Johnson in Resting Potential

Micaele Johnson - Taylor

Resting Potential was Micaele Johnson’s first principal role in an independent feature film. Acting training received at On Broadway, at Circle in the Square Theatre School NYC . Currently, Micaele is based out of Vancouver and is signed with Mint Talent. Cavan Cunningham - Chris

Cavan Cunningham was born in San Francisco and raised (for the most part) in Vancouver, BC. Cavan has been acting on film, tv & stage since the mid-80’s. He has worked on many productions but is probably most well known as Mayor “Fitzy” on the several iterations of Corner Gas. He’s worked all around western Canada and even parts of northern Europe. Sometimes Cavan can be found teaching at the University of Regina but these days is most often seen corralling his kids and helping to organize his professorial wife’s busy life. IMDB

Dawn Bird - Theresa Pelletier

Dawn Bird is an Actor, Writer, Casting Director, and Producer for tv, film and web in Regina, Saskatchewan. She runs three Regina-based production companies: B.E.ZEE Productions Inc., DBD Productions Inc. and Iron Door Productions Inc. Dawn produced Feature films Bread Thieves and Mercy, which can be viewed on the National Film Board’s website, the comedic web series Zarqa, which can be viewed on CBC Gem and is currently producing the 5th season of the animated TV series Why Am I? Previous seasons can be viewed on City TV Saskatchewan. Alan Bratt has been in the business in Saskatchewan for a long time. Early on he decided to stay here and through the years saw the film business grow and prosper and then suffer a precipitous decline. Now with new money being infused from the government he hopes to see it grow again. Often he used to play less than pleasant people and now he hopes to play nasty old men. They’re the most fun. Mark Claxton in Resting Potential

Mark Claxton - Robert

Mark Claxton is a Prairies-based theatre artist currently making his home on Treaty Four lands in Regina. Mark’s theatre credits include, All Shook Up, Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood, The Black Bonspiel of Wullie MacCrimmon, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Regina’s Globe Theatre. Mark has also been seen in many other theatre productions including but not limited to Neighbourhood 3: Requisition of Doom (Persephone Theatre); Dry Streak, The Odd Couple (Souris Valley Theatre); Driving Miss Daisy, Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (RuBarb Productions); and Wizard of Oz: The Panto (Diversified Productions). In film and television, Mark has been seen in Corner Gas: The Movie, Vampire Dog, Stranded, A.R.C.H.I.E., Corner Gas, InSecurity, and Little Mosque on the Prairie, and his performance in Dr. Ripp earned him a Saskatchewan Independent Film Award. A former journalist and communications consultant, he is also the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals (SATP). His work with SATP is driven by gratitude and love for the Saskatchewan theatre community that nurtured his late-blooming vocation as an actor and director.
